Stable dose and long-term service are different facts.
A maintenance dose is an ongoing dose used after starting and dose escalation. A pharmacy maintenance programme is a service policy: whether the provider will continue clinically appropriate treatment, including after a patient reaches a lower BMI or goal weight. Listing a maintenance-strength price does not prove that programme exists.
Treatment starts at 0.25 mg weekly and is increased gradually. The standard maintenance dose is 2.4 mg. If clinically needed, 7.2 mg can be used for eligible adults with obesity after time on 2.4 mg.
