Information, not prescribing advice.Maintenance treatment requires an individual clinical assessment. Dose availability, price or inclusion in a table does not show that a medicine is suitable for someone.
What maintenance means

Stable dose and long-term service are different facts.

A maintenance dose is an ongoing dose used after starting and dose escalation. A pharmacy maintenance programme is a service policy: whether the provider will continue clinically appropriate treatment, including after a patient reaches a lower BMI or goal weight. Listing a maintenance-strength price does not prove that programme exists.

The licensed adult starting dose is 2.5 mg weekly. The recommended maintenance doses are 5 mg, 10 mg and 15 mg; 7.5 mg and 12.5 mg are normally dose-escalation steps.

A higher dose does not automatically mean a better or more appropriate dose. Compare only the dose selected by the prescriber and confirm the current total and inclusions directly with the provider.

This table concerns long-term service policy, not whether a provider merely lists a particular dose. Pharmacy eligibility rules can change and every prescribing decision remains individual.

How the evidence will be completed

One provider-owned source at a time.

PharmacyScore will record a clear Yes, No or Not clearly stated only when a provider-owned page supports the wording. The source URL, review date, covered medicines, patient type, eligibility, duration, stable doses and ongoing price will be retained together.

Introductory discounts, affiliate codes and ambiguous “from” prices are not treated as standard ongoing maintenance prices.
